A Bowls By Boys wooden bowl can be hand washed in soapy water, then dried.  Do not leave a bowl exposed to water for long periods of time.  After washing, dry it off promptly.  Never expose bowls to hot liquids and never wash in a dishwasher. Our bowls have a Claphams™ beeswax salad bowl finish. If you wash a bowl, applying beeswax or mineral oil occasionally will continue to protect the wood.
